Indication: Lisathyone is used to prevent the nervous disorders (neuropathies) that can occur following the use of antitumoral drugs, such as Cisplatin or Cisplatin analogues, by protecting the cells.

Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. This medicine is not to be used in children and adolescents. Please tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicine, pregnant or planning a pregnancy, or if breastfeeding.

Storage condition: Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.

Dosage and administration: The usual dose is 1-2 vials a day or as prescribed by the physician. Administration by intramuscular administration, or by slow intravenous injection or by intravenous infusion. This product should be administered 15-30 minutes prior to the beginning of chemotherapy.

Direction for reconstitution:

For instramuscular injection or bolus IV injection, dissolve the vial contents with the ampoule solvent included in the package.
For intravenous infusion, the solution obtained as above mentioned must be further diluted with at least 20 mL of water for injection.

The reconstituted solution must be used immediately after preparation. It must be clear, colorless and free from visible particles and must be used for a single, uninterrupted administration. Any remaining solution should be discarded.
